Numerous vacancies currently exist within our client's Risk Scoring team.

Role Overview

The Risk Scoring team within Retail Credit Risk develops, reviews and monitors predictive models to estimate the credit risk of customers. These models are used to help make decisions about credit applications, ongoing credit management, application fraud, and collections. The team supports the implementation of the Basel II Accord through the delivery of Basel compliant scorecards, and works with the portfolio management teams and key business stakeholders to ensure that credit policy is aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead Analyst within the Scorecard Review Team, part of Risk Scoring.
The role will include:
• Development, review and validation of predictive credit models
• Support the implementation of models
• Responsibility for ongoing performance monitoring of the models

Candidate Specification
• 2:1 degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant numeric degree
• Minimum 12 months experience of working in a risk, customer decisioning or analytically related environment
• Evidence of analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail
• Some programming experience – experience of SAS or other statistical programming language is preferred
• Uses information analysis to evaluate alternative courses of action and to support objective decisions

The basic salary for these positions is between £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE). In addition you will receive a bonus pension, private healthcare and other benefits.
