Description:

My client a leading provider of financial products & services is seeking a Credit & Risk Analyst to become a key figure in the development, deployment and expansion of their Credit Risk Scoring Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for development and testing of scorecards to drive decisions at all points within the credit life cycle. Diagnosing scorecard/strategy problems and making recommendations on new developments as appropriate. Advising on arrears management strategies and identifying problems. Undertaking analysis of data to support field security/fraud detection projects. Producing, monitoring and evaluating forecasts and forecasting techniques for bad debt and collections. Providing support in credit, risk and performance analysis to the country teams, and other areas, in the setting of optimal strategies using the scorecards and models.

Essential Knowledge & Skills: A detailed knowledge of SAS/SPSS SQL and MS Office applications. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Effective organizational skills. Negotiating and influencing skills..

QUALIFICATIONS ::
Good honours graduate or postgraduate qualification in a numerate discipline including statistical methods and applications. Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
