Credit and Risk Manager (Asset Finance)Surrey/South London
£35,000 to £45,000 plus bonus and benefits
A superb opportunity has arisen to join a specialist asset finance division of international Financial Institution based in Surrey. Working within their Small and Middle Ticket New Business area, you will be working autonomously, making commercial underwriting decisions involving the financing of Plant, Machinery, Transportation and IT equipment. In addition, you will contribute to other matters within the department such as, assisting with regular reviews of policies relating to risk and credit scoring, providing regular management reports and recommendations and being involved with process improvements. The successful candidate will be a customer service minded individual with a proven track record in a busy credit-related environment. You will be liaising with clients and vendors in the course of business, collating information as required by the company and therefore, a keen eye for detail and an excellent telephone manner are essential.
Candidates MUST have solid experience of underwriting corporate credit proposals from within an asset finance environment and have a good understanding of regulatory lending requirements, including compliance. You should be well educated with first class communication skills.
