Financial Recoveries Limited (FRL) is a commercial debt collection agency which has been established over 5 years and is located in Chessington. The business has grown comfortably over the past 5 years building a good portfolio of clients of which a good number are highly recognisable brands. The debts pursued are 98% commercial with a small selection of consumer debts, we also offer international debt services both in house and by agent - which represents 15% of accounts worked.

The Future

It is the intention of the directors that the business will grow more aggressively over the next 3 years with the minimum aim of trebling the existing staff head count, turnover and profit. This will be achieved through organic growth, proactive sales campaigns, competitor company acquisition and maintaining our high client retention. As a consequence of growth, progression could be available to a successful candidate as our plans require the appointment of a collections director within 12 – 18 months.

The Role

Managing and motivating a team of 4 collectors, having regular meetings, offering guidance and direction and leading by example. You and your team will be set monthly and quarterly collection targets. You will be responsible to ensure that these are achieved while enforcing the collections procedure. You will also be responsible for reviewing and updated the existing collection procedure where applicable. You will also be required to oversee recruitment, in order to build a team of competent collectors capable of achieving targets.

Requirements – Essential

 Minimum of 3 years debt recovery experience at supervisor or management level
 Good people management

Requirements – Desirable

• Previous debt collection experience pursuing commercial debtors
