The RoleAn outstanding opportunity has come available for a highly experienced and proven risk management leader to support one of the UK’s largest Current Account businesses. This role has been redesigned and expanded to give the selected leader an opportunity to help transform the way credit is managed in this business.
Responsible for all the account management policy and process, the position will set and optimise all planned and unplanned line limits for the Current Account business. Leveraging advanced analytics the leader will also have responsibility for account profitability, forecasting and reporting.
Managing a direct team of 10 analysts and risk managers, the leader will advance the risk management, analytical and decision capabilities to set strategy designed to drive competitive advantage for the business. The strategies will facilitate business development, drive profitability and improve customer service whilst controlling bad debt to agreed levels.
What we are looking for
The right candidate will have leadership acumen and senior-level presentation skills. Also a superior knowledge of credit risk management concepts, principles and practices in a high volume unsecured consumer credit environment.
