Description:

This role is responsible for maximising data capability in order to optimise the effectiveness of Fraud Strategy and policy across products and fraud types. The role is accountable for the reduction of fraud losses through the effective management and monitoring of various fraud models and systems in place such as Falcon. You will construct short term and long-term plans associated with benefits of strategies that are developed to reduce fraud across all UK portfolios.

You will evaluate, analyse and leverage a range of statistical information in order to recommend, review, and implement decisions that will have a positive impact on the profit and loss of each Fraud Portfolio. You will supervise analysis of current and historic data, for instance, authorizations, write off data, to keep the systems at the cutting edge of fraud detection. You will supervise regular evaluation of fraud strategies that are implemented from both an operational and financial benefit perspective. Accountable for providing expert consultancy to stakeholders in order to support strategic agenda.

You must be proficient in performing data analysis utilizing a standard statistical package such as SAS or SPSS, and have a clear understanding of the methods underlying predictive modelling. You must have industry leading knowledge of new fraud initiatives and emerging technology.
