Description:
Our client a top central government department seeks a qualified management accountant to join their busy and growing team through a time of restructure and development of the department. You will join the assistant director of financial planning to re-construct and direct the management accounting team. You will produce reports on performance, analysis of the overall revenue, costs and development of the finance team for the director's reports. You work with planning and development to ensure spending reviews are carried out and implement other procedures to improve the overall reporting methods currently in place.You will have excellent budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills, previous government experience will be desireable and a full CCAB qualification or near qualification is necessary. You will be immediately available, an excellent team leader and a strength of management information.
