The RoleThis role is responsible for the development and implementation of an Operational Risk framework to ensure the business takes ownership of risk identification and mitigation, acheives Advanced Measurement Approach standard of risk management and the maximum level of economic capital reduction.
Span of responsibility incorporates all disciplines of operational risk namely Business Operational Risk, Financial Crime, Information Security, Business Continuity and Personal/Physical Security together with SOX testing and reporting.
What we are looking for
You will have the ability to identify and pursue solutions to Operational Risk. Have a strong understanding of the business drivers and the strategic direction of the bank; sound understanding of regulatory compliance within the Banking environment. And awareness of current industry trends and issues, both banking and finance that potentially affect the business.
