Description:

The main accountabilities will be as detailed.

Bought Ledger
•To under take the full responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger function, which includes ensuring that all invoices have Purchase Orders, are correctly recorded on Sage and are authorised by the correct signatory.
•To keep the bought ledger up-to-date by posting invoices, credit notes and payments in a timely manner
•Perform payment runs in accordance to payment terms
•Raise manual payments when appropriate
•Reconcile and keep tidy all Supplier accounts
•Perform reconciliation of Creditors statements in order to keep Creditors to a minimum following the terms that have been agreed with Suppliers. Such duties to be performed verbally, letter, fax, and email when necessary.
•Ensure that control account in nominal ledger is reconciled to Creditor balances daily
Sales ledger
•Assist with Credit Control issues to keep the sales ledger up-to-date
Cash Books
•Keep these up to date on daily basis
•Ensure that Balance per Cash books are agreed to SAGE on daily basis
•Reconcile the cash books to bank statements.
Sage Accounts System
•Keep the system up to date daily with regard the accounting entries of the company
Genesis
•Gain a working knowledge of the operations system to enable you to complete the day-to-day tasks as needed
