The Client

My client is a leading Bank, seeking a Policy Director, to oversee the policies, processes, and performance of the consumer lending portfolios in a global portfolio, across the full credit risk management cycle and processes – underwriting, portfolio management, fraud, collections, recoveries, MI infrastructure, risk/reward, risk appetite, governance/controls – and lead optimization and change initiatives to ensure best in class risk management policies and processes.

The Role

You will lead critical risk initiatives that supports risk and business goals and aims to optimize risk/reward while maintaining strong governance and controls. You will also work closely with collections strategy and operations in centre and country to ensure collections are best in class. Regularly monitor and review portfolio performance and drive policy changes/enhancements and understand all drivers of performance and necessary actions needed for improvement/optimization.

What we are looking for

You must have strong analytical and technical skills, and strong leadership capability, who naturally assumes ownership of initiatives. You will have a strong understanding of consumer lending products and full lifecycle risk management disciplines, with a strong knowledge of International markets, risk management, control & governance framework, and legal & regulatory environments within financial services.
