Description:

A high profile role within financial services, you will develop risk strategies that support commercial ambitions, determining appropriate risk policies to support these strategies. You will work with senior members of your team to ensure that strategies are not restricted by balance sheet constraints, making sure risk transfer options are available if required.

Your contribution to the analysis of new products, business plans, origination policies and individual transactions will be key, and you’ll have the opportunity to represent the team at financial risk management committees.

What we are looking for

You have a solid track record in retail banking credit risk processes, systems and scoring. You must be proficient in SAS, SQL and Excel, and adept at extracting and manipulating data to prepare, validate and analyse models. You must be able to communicate your ideas to both a technical and non technical audience. With a good understanding of commercial banking, you are able to relate concepts and models to reality, appreciating risk-reward profiles of lending portfolios.
