Portfolio Optimisation Manager – Collections

Location: London Canary Wharf

If you are passionate about customers and focused on transformation, the role of Portfolio Optimisation Manager could be the opportunity you are looking for. The Collections & Recoveries team within Credit Risk works across a range of products (Loans; Current Accounts; Mortgages) for both individual customers and small businesses.

Your responsibility will be to Manage impairment; delivering a series of value-adding initiatives to reduce credit losses. You will:

-Work with Credit Risk teams aligned to specific Specialist Business Units to forecast credit losses accurately for a range of strategic, market and economic scenarios.

-Conduct analysis to define key metrics to be monitored and to set appropriate targets & Service Level Agreements.

-Support developments to infrastructure and operational processes required to deliver on strategic plans.

The successful candidate will:

-Demonstrate the ability to communicate and influence across a range of levels of expertise and seniority.

-Have sttrong analytical skills – the ability to digest & interpret complex concepts underpinning Risk Portfolio Management.

-Consider & validate model inputs & outputs.

-Have experience of standard Risk models and measures, and of Credit Risk Management within Consumer Finance.

-Established technical skills (SAS, SQL, Excel) including experience of data
