Large bank seeks SAS / Credit risk / Collections candidates in their retail consumer credit risk facility.
You will work as part of a highly successful team at the leading edge of Risk Portfolio Management, focusing on Collections and Recoveries. It is a good opportunity to lead a team that offers a real contribution to major business decisions. You will be leading a team of collections analysts to:
- Manage impairment; delivering a series of value-adding initiatives to reduce credit losses
- Working with colleagues in Operations team to understand and respond to their business needs and to maximise the understanding of recoveries performance.
- Report Collections and Recoveries strategic performance to the wider business, presenting ideas, opportunities and risks.
To apply for this role you will have knowledge of:
Consumer credit Risk analysis
SAS / SPSS Modeling / reporting of scorecards
Expert knowledge of SQL and VBA
Extensive Work Experience in the banking / Finance industry ideally in collections & Recoveries.
Educated to the level of:
Honors degree, (2:1 or better) in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics,
The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £46,000 + excellent benefits.
