The company:
This role is within a growing team of a large Finance Organisation in Leeds. They are a household name and need to expand their data management team by recruiting a Data Quality and SAS Specialist.
The role:
This varied and interesting role will involve leading projects and initiatives within the retail data quality team. This will focus around the following:
Project management as will as liaising with internal stakeholders & Third Parties
Building Reporting Systems for analysing Data Quality
SAS based work - Data Management and Manipulation
Supporting the Head of retail data quality on the Data Quality communication strategy
Be a key member of staff on the adherence of compliance standards – eg Basel, Sarbannes Oxley
The person
To apply for this role it is important that you have good sound knowledge of SAS and/or SQL but want to move on to a role that is more hands off and focusing on stakeholder management and strategy.You will be able to manage projects and be confident to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Any understanding of the production of technical documentation and also Microsoft Office software including Vision and Project would be beneficial. You will also need to have an understanding of compliance standards such as Basel and Sarbannes-Oxley
Remuneration:
The successful candidate can expect to receive a competitive salary of £28k - £38k plus an excellent benefits package including very good bonus potential and share schemes.
