This role is within a well known financial services institution employing over 70,000 people.
Role
This is an exciting role managing and developing a team of Decision Science analysts across the marketing and risk teams to ensure that modelling, credit scorecards and optimisation solutions are specified, developed and implemented in line with customer management credit risk and customer value management strategies and processes.
As well as line management responsibility, you will be technically hands on and apply advanced modelling techniques to predict customer behaviours such as credit risk, credit abuse, fraud, bankruptcy, affordability and future values.
This will be a highly visible role and you will be working closely with Senior management to define strategy.
The Person
Ideally with a first class honours degree plus post graduate qualification, you will come from a background within Consumer Credit Risk, have ability to assemble and manipulate data sets and knowledge of development of credit risk scoring models. It is hoped that you have knowledge of SAS, SPSS, SQL or similar and have worked previously in a role that sits within risk or marketing managing analysts with experience in data mining, statistics, simulation, optimisation and modelling, however relevant experience will be considered and training offered.
The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary of £40k -£55k dependant on experience and an industry leading benefits package including excellent bonus opportunities, pension, share schemes. You would also receive a car allowance/company car.
