Job Title: Database Marketing Analyst SASLocation: Halifax
Salary: £150 (temp contract for 22 months)
Overview
To measure the effectiveness of database marketing campaigns through regular and ad hoc campaign reporting and to drive increased returns on investment by recommending improvements to targeting.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Production of weekly, monthly and quarterly direct marketing campaign performance reports
Production of ad hoc campaign analysis to understand campaign performance
Build close working relationships with the brand marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and ensure that campaign briefs are highly targeted
Analyse campaign performance and recommend targeting improvements to drive improved campaign return on investment
Support the Customer Contact & Evaluation team during integration including the transfer of reports and analysis to target systems
Work closely with Marketing Effectiveness teams across multiple sites
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Needed
Highly numerate with well-developed analytical skills
At least 2 years' experience using SAS software and Excel to produce detailed, accurate and high quality analysis and reporting
Strong knowledge of retail financial services
Experience of working in a direct marketing department
