Description:

Responsibilities:
 
1)       To take full responsibility for the day to day collection of monies against a specific ledger (approx 400 accounts) according to our terms and conditions of sale maintaining a debtors day level as set by management.
 
2)       To maintain a consistently high volume of positive calls on a day to day basis (40+)
 
3)       To ensure all N/R?s are dealt with meeting deadlines set within cashiers department.
 
4)       Ensure all refunds requested are actioned in a timely manner and authorised as appropriate.
 
5)       To identify and prepare files to be passed to Solicitors within company guidelines.
 
6)       Keep ledgers tidy by making sure all housekeeping of write-offs / unallocated cash and settlement of queries are done regularly and authorised according to credit control procedures.
 
7)       To liase/ communicate with other internal departments /branch offices where relevant in the resolution of queries.
 
8)       To fulfil any other duties / responsibilities which may arise or are delegated before the next updated issue of this job description.
 
9)       To ensure cover for other members workloads in the event of absence due to illness or annual leave.
 
To promote the department, both externally and internally, in a positive and professional manner at all times.
