This is a temporary job working in Northampton within a team of Credit Controllers where you will have responsibility for directing the incoming cash to the appropriate account and supporting the cash allocation function.A friendly team of people and a well established company means this is an excellent job for someone looking for long term temporary work with potential of a more permanent job in the future.
Key duties will include:
- Receive high volumes of Sales Ledger cheques, check the cheques meet set criteria, post to the ledger and prepare for banking
- Prepare cheque deposits for collection
- Receive and post BACS receipts to the ledger
- Process Credit Card customer payments, post to the ledger
- Liaise and support Cash Allocation Team to assist with allocation of cash and resolve queries
- Assisting the cash allocation function as and when required
- Assisting with monthly cash reports
- Assisting with credit control administration tasks
