Description:
This large manufacturing company is looking for a Sales Ledger clerk to cover for MAT leave.Create daily sales invoice run
Ensure customer prices are kept up to date using information supplied by Business Account Managers
Print and post to customers all sales invoices.
Create and process miscellaneous invoices.
Process customer haulage recharges and promotional invoices.
Raise credit notes and resolve debit notes.
Post and allocate cash to customers accounts.
All credit control duties.
Direct responsibility for banking of money.
Direct responsibility for the recovery of cash from outstanding accounts and the raising of credit notes.
The job holder is required to complete the financial period end Sales Ledger, which results in changes and extensions to the normal working pattern.
The job holder is required to cover periods of absence of the Accounts Assistant
A sound working knowledge and at least two years hands-on experience of computerised Sales Ledger systems.
Needs to be a team player and able to work under pressure in meeting clearly defined
timescales and deadlines.
Must have strong reconciliation experience.
Must have numerical skills and be computer literate.
