What you will be doing
Due to promotion and growth they are seeking to recruit two Senior Analysts to work within their Corporate Credit department which supports their corporate finance and corporate lending and transactions department. You will work closely with the front office deals team and be an important part of a small team. The role supports product offerings which include debt, bonds, project finance, export finance, markets- fx and treasury and trade finance.
You will work closely with product/relationship managers and clients to fully understand their strategic and financial plans, and their specific requirements and expectations both at inception and on an ongoing basis. You will also work with the product/relationship managers to devise appropriate solutions to meet client needs on an ongoing basis using knowledge of the banks institutional products and services. Meeting with clients and participating in sales calls on a regular basis to undertake credit risk reviews/updates as part of the relationship management strategy. You will use specialist industry knowledge to complete high quality credit proposals. You will also identify potential business opportunities as a result of risk assessment and also product and industry knowledge. Managing and or undertaking research for the preparation of detailed industry studies will also be involved in the role. You will successfully manage a portfolio through annual and periodic review of clients operating and financial performance. Working closely with product/relationship managers you will also establish and define credit requirements, including deal structuring and risk mitigation. An advanced knowledge and understanding of multiple balance sheets and complex corporate entities with the ability to interpret all forms of financial data and instruments is needed for this role. You will be able to draw conclusion based on the analysis of medium to long-term prospects of clients and industry in the context of current economic and competitive environment.

There are opportunities for promotion into other roles including structuring and also relationship management. The role also offers international exposure. The bank concentrates its efforts on large international corporate organisations with international connections. You will either work with natural resources or infrastructure companies and services but will also support other industry areas.
What they are looking for
You must be from a credit analysis background and have 3 years plus experience in a domestic or international bank. You will have a good personality and have the capability to autonomously write a credit paper. You will spend time in front of clients so therefore must be a natural communicator with the skills to build relationships. You must have a broad deal experience. You must have gained exposure of analysis of large corporate clients which could be Europe top 250 corporate companies.
