Our client are currently looking for a Senior Credit Analyst. Ideally they are looking for a candidate with a recent background in global markets and have an experience of business throughout and Europe and the Middle East.The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for the evaluation and maintenance of credit limits for all existing and potential customers. The analyst must evaluate creditworthiness and maintain regular interface with internal departments within the organisation.
Principle Accountabilities
- Analyse credit risks of existing and prospective customers, both domestic and international.
- Maintain account portfolio for approximately 3000 customers.
- Evaluate, recommend and communicate credit holds to the field.
- Participate in meetings of the credit committee.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policy.

Maintain regular contact with Corporate Treasury and other Credit & Collection facilities within our client's to monitor global exposure.
Create interface with EMA Front Line Teams to ensure our involvement and input on major contracts at the ‘front end'.
Maintain credit files to support credit decisions taken.
Monitor information available on major customers to assess current financial strength.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Management, with a minimum of three to five years credit and collections experience in a corporate or commercial environment.
Previous experience in industry managing a large number of accounts, preferably gained in an international environment.
An assertive personality with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Excellent PC skills, including significant experience with Microsoft Excel and other related accounting software.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Management, with a minimum of three to five years credit and collections experience in a corporate or commercial environment.
Previous experience in industry managing a large number of accounts, preferably gained in an international environment.
An assertive personality with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Excellent PC skills, including significant experience with Microsoft Excel and other related accounting software.
Essential
Qualified to degree level, preferably in finance/accounting.
Three years experience.
Experience of business throughout Europe and Middle East.
Desirable
Experience of international trade plus language skills.
Part or fully qualified member of ICM or IEX.
Five years experience.
