Description:

Senior Credit Analysts

With extensive knowledge of credit risk management and analytical techniques, you’re ready to make all the difference for one of Britain’s biggest banks. Already one of the UK’s largest banks, we’re on our way to being the best bank on the high street. It helps that we’re now part of Santander, the world’s fifth largest bank, and we’re leveraging this scale and scope to achieve our aims. As part of a group that has around 129,000 people serving 67 million customers via 10,800 branches across 40 countries, the opportunities for our business, and our people, are huge.

You will be central to our continued profitability and growth, as you optimise retail credit risk analysis to solve real business problems. What’s more, you will apply your insight to drive far-reaching recommendations and value-based lending policy and strategies, with a strongly strategic focus.

Naturally, you must be able to take management information from core credit analysts, and translate this data into meaningful and considered arguments for senior stakeholders across the business. Consequently, you will already be operating within credit risk management for a major financial services provider, and will be knowledgeable regarding SAS, analytical software and Microsoft Excel.

A proven record of delivering data drivers, value based lending, policy and strategies would be a huge advantage – but above all, you’ll be capable of tackling a steep learning curve and benefiting from our heavy investment in your training and development.
