A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Controller to join the team within a large well established organisation near Caernarfon.Your main focus would be to effectively manage the credit control function with two support staff.
You will be able to ensure professional practices are adopted when collecting payments within agreed terms, ensuring a swift effective process is in place.
Strong communication skills will be key in this role as you will be reporting information on a weekly and monthly basis to the board of directors.
My client is looking for a motivated individual who will be looking to continuously develop processes and procedures to improve efficiencies within the department.
Main duties to include:
- Responsible for cash collection target are achieved on 1000 live accounts
- Day to day credit control on key customer accounts from National to Independent Retailers
- Negotiating payment plans
- Dealing with queries and ensuring customer balances stay within agreed credit limits
- Credit checks
- Reducing debtor days
- Dealing with accounts right through to litigation stage and liaising with external companies that do the litigation.
- Keen to improve processes and controls where necessary
- To be a key member of the EDI development team, ensuring EDI invoicing is accurate and complete
- Regularly review KPI's and take necessary action to ensure targets are achieved
- Attend meetings when necessary
