Description:
A Central London based practice of surveyors and consultants providing advice to the property industry are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join their expanding Credit Team.This role will be responsible for 300+ accounts and will be dealing with £3+ million ledgers, with an expected collection target of approx £1 million per month.
The Senior Credit Controller will also be responsible for supervising 1 Credit Controller
Responsibilities
· assessing and recommending adequate credit limits,
· risk mitigation and setting up and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures,
· reviewing ongoing market developments and
· where appropriate, meeting with key accounts and developing and implementing strategies and solutions to overcome credit management challenges such as cash collection, working to set targets and credit control to litigation level.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate must
· have experience of working within a time billing environment
· have excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills
· be able to work independently and with a high level of autonomy.
· be customer focused, detail-orientated and self-motivated in order to manage through ambiguity and resolve complex issues
· previous experience of supervising staff would be beneficial
Salary will be circa £30 / £32k depending on experience.
