Description:
Debt collection for each of the client's businesses, by preparation and review of aged debt report, and reduction of unbilled debt.Duties include;
- Allocation of cash receipts
- Preparation of 12-week cash receipts forecast on a weekly basis.
- Ensure monthly statements for all clients are produced and have regular communication with clients
- Routine and ad-hoc cash reporting for senior management.
- Run credit checks on potential clients to ensure creditworthiness.
- Review specific bad debt provision on a monthly basis ensuring that balance sheet account is fully reconciled.
- Close work with Project Engineers and Managers to solve client queries.
- Monthly reconciliation of Sales Ledger and Debtor report to Senior Management
- Inputting commentary to sales ledger relating to any contact had with the customers regarding payment of outstanding accounts.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to management team
- Continuous development of systems, policies and procedures
- Management and development of team
The ideal candidate will have;
- Previous credit control experience
- Good knowledge of sales ledger procedures
- Technical knowledge
- Reporting experience
