Description:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a senior Credit Controller to join a trade association based in the Harrow area.We are looking for motivated candidates who are interested in a new challenge and the chance to develop their skills in a varied role.
This will also provide the successful applicant with the chance to gain some supervisory experience as you will be responsible for a more junior member of the team.
Reconciliation of weekly bank receipts against raised Payroll invoices
- Liaising and clearing any imbalances with Payroll Manager or direct with customer
- Contacting clients to recover debt by phone/email/fax
- Issuing of Statements & Credit Notes
- Preparing Arrears Report on a monthly basis
- Ensuring any lack of payment or underpayment by the clients are reported to your line manager or Directors at the earliest moment
- Posting customer invoices onto the accounts package (Exchequer)
- Posting customer receipts against their debtors balance in the accounts package
- Helping with the transition to new accounting software
- Reconciliation of debtor accounts ? clearing up historic debt?s
- Putting procedures in place going forward to improve ageing
- An understanding of corporate debt collection through to litigation
- Monitoring of credit ratings using Creditsafe and updating records accordingly
- Chasing overpayments made to men
- Identifying any returned operative credits and establishing correct details for resending
- Ensure that all enquiries and queries from the clients are dealt with in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.

- Communicating with all departments to maintain a strong brand.
You will have strong communication skills both written and spoken and be IT Literate
