My client, a London based investment bank are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Market Risk Manager to join there Global markets risk team.

The successful applicant will e fully responsible for the daily risk management of Front Office trading of Interest Rates, Equities, Credit and Commodity products.

You will also have experience of VaR as well good understanding and analysis of daily P&L, stress testing experience as well as having the confidence to work closely with Traders, product controllers and ‘C level’ staff

• Academic background (Degree) in numerical bias subject
• High level of market risk experience gained within a dynamic international Bank
• At least 5 years previous experience in a Market Risk Management - Control function, trading or front office Risk Management
• Excellent understanding of broad range of financial products, valuation methodologies and risk analysis using VaR and Greek sensitivities
• Strong leadership, problem solving and communications skills as well as having managed large teams of analysts
• Quality interpersonal skills being able to form strong relationships with clients to stakeholders across all levels
• Effective communication skills including strong written communication
