Job Title: Senior Marketing Analyst – Customer InsightLocation: Chester
Salary: £35,000 + Bonus, Pension, Shares, Healthcare
Overview
Provide insights into customer and product behaviour and marketing campaign performance through regular and ad-hoc analysis in order to understand past performance and maximise the contribution from future campaigns, product development and business initiatives.
Day-to-Day
• Provide analytical support to the Business specifically the Sales, NPD & Business Development teams through the
• Attend monthly Marketing meetings to present findings of past campaign performance and make recommendations for future campaigns based on learnings.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing population of the Loans Profitability models to ensure assumptions are up-to-date to ensure accuracy in our forecasting.
• Work with the business to develop new and existing behavioural forecasting models, such as the call forecasting model to enable the business to more accurately forecast call volumes in response to mailings and allocate resource appropriately. Ensure that existing models are continually refined with fresh data and add new data to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
Candidate Profile
• Lead the team (by example) by displaying excellent organisational and planning skills to ensure that the appropriate solutions are delivered on schedule, and attend and lead meetings or project meetings, acting as a representative for Marketing Analytics.
• Proficient user of Business Objects and SAS, experienced in building complex Excel spreadsheets (with VB, advantageous).
• Confident communicator with good presentation skills (written and oral).
• Able to apply strong influencing skills to ensure buy-in is obtained from colleagues and customers and to ensure knowledge gained from analytical insights is used to influence future decisions.
