Location: Leeds
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + Bonus (to 30%), Shares, Pnesion, Healthcare etc...

Role Overview

Data Management is part of Risk Fulfilment and is accountable for delivering credit risk solutions across the various portfolios

This is a role within the Production Team in Data Management and is accountable for:
• The end to end BASEL II process from; sourcing data through credit risk scoring to estimating Risk Weighted Assets, Regulatory Capital estimates, etc
• Project / stakeholder managing the various functions within the business who support the BASEL II process
• Project managing changes to the process

A self-starter is required who can own and manage project deliverables and work-streams and successfully wire them into the Production processes.

The jobholder will demonstrate, or have the capacity to develop:

• Project Management
• Analysis of data, information, trends, issues and risks.
• Problem solving - able to identify issues / conflicts and take appropriate action for effective resolution.
• Microsoft Office software including Vision and Project
• Effective communication both written and verbal - interaction with all levels of Management and External Suppliers / Consultants.
• Business Analysis; interpreting business requirements, converting requirements to systems specifications for implementation.
• Technical Documentation; production of Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), system specifications and data dictionaries/data values.
• Preferred exposure to core and peripheral mainframe systems, source and stored data repositories and structures.
• Understanding of compliance standards including Basel, IAS, Data Protection, Sarbannes-Oxley
• High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
• Essential skills in SAS Base Programming & OR use of SQL / SQL software specifically (appropriate training and guidance will be provided)
• Knowledge or exposure to working with & developing Data Warehouse Solutions.
