Job Description:
As part of our group-wide strategy focus, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced credit professional to head our UK credit control function (approximately 100 credit control staff) and bring new vision to the department. You will be responsible for the effective management of the UK’s cash flow, risk and debt management, as well as leading a project to centralise the credit function into a shared service centre, implementing new effective UK-wide processes and procedures.
Skills Required:
• Proven credit management skills within a high volume/high risk environment
• Previous experience of managing large and complex credit control teams (50-60 staff minimum)
• Experience of having set up and worked within a shared service centre.
• MICM qualification advantageous.
• Ability to liaise with senior members of staff across the UK.
• Strong reporting and Excel skills.
• Previous experience of working within a complex global blue chip organisation.
• Ability to work autonomously and make own decisions.
