Working for a billion dollar organisation with the world?s richest product and service portfolio. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Analyst to establish themselves within a large Credit team.The role encompasses process implementation, introduction of an online platform to act as the first stage int he credit application process, as well as the day to day Credit applications from new and existing customers.
Job Purpose
To optimise sales productivity whilst protecting the portfolio integrity through the effective analysis of applications from proposed customers within UK. Assist in the management of collections over 91 days, legal, bankruptcies, and recovery. Set up and administrate a Syndications platform to shed risk and balance portfolio risk on the overall UK Portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage credit adjudication of applications over £37,500.
- Review and analyse of past and current financial statements/tax returns of potential partners along with trade references, Graydon Reports or other outside reporting agencies, tax authorities, as well as resources available on the internet in order to approve potential lessee business.
- Partner with other business units to ensure accurate measurement of total ?at risk exposure? on UK Leasing portfolio.
- Oversee and insure the completeness and accuracy of the credit line assignment process of obligors in the UK Leasing portfolio in accordance with Global policies and local procedures.
- Ensure careful follow-up and proper Operational controls are in place to ensure accurate and complete documentation review reflects the credit approval terms and conditions.
- Responsible to develop the statistical reporting needs to track UK Leasing?s portfolios including late stage collection reports
- Responsible for the development of the measurement tools to ensure departmental compliance with targeted metrics as well as individual compliance on applications received over £37,500..
- Assist in the set up of Company reporting tools on the UKs Leasing?s portfolio.
- Develop and maintain Leasing?s Policy and Procedures for the processing of applications within Leasing.
- Prior experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of an internet based up front application processing system.
- Prior experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of prudent underwriting practices within the middle ticket marketplace.
- Short term business credit experience
- Prior experience in late stage collections, workout, and recovery
- A commitment to Customer service excellence.
- Experience in presentation of large or middle ticket deals to upper management.
- Experience in Portfolio Review and Executive Credit Committee meetings
- Understanding of Concessionaire driven leasing needs and delivery expectations.
- Proven track record of accepting responsibility / accountability.
