A large corporation based in the Borehamwood area is currently looking to recruit a credit controller on a 6 month contract with the possibility of going on to a permanent role. Reporting to the credit control manager you will be responsible for the collection of outstanding debts from a variety of customers. The successful candidate will be required to ensure that deadlines and targets are reached within set time scales and have the ability to collect outstanding monies by means of telephone, letter and email.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a credit control department and have an excellent telephone manner with the ability to build good working relationships with customers.

Main Responsibilities:
Reporting into a Credit Manager, you will have experience managing a high volume accounts and be confident dealing with clients across disciplines. Handling Client correspondence, client calls - answering / researching purchaser queries and liaising with expert departments.
Skills/Competencies/Experience:
Customer service or Credit Control experience essential. Flexible attitude, confident and excellent presentation and organisation skills required. Computer literacy is essential.
Working in a team of 3 in a not for profit organisation in newly refurbished offices. This role will encompass looking after a ledger of up to 500 live accounts. You will be responsible for chasing payments and dealing with queries. In addition to this on a monthly basis you will reconcile your accounts and raise any relevant paperwork needed.

An SME based in Borehamwood is in need of a credit controller.
They have a backlog and need someone to handle some of their accounts, with debtor days of 90 and 120 days. The successful person will have experience in retrieving aged debt, and be able to build relationships with clients, both large blue chips and SMEs, and retrieve the money while maintaining the relationship.
This is initially a temporary role with an option to become permanent if successful.
