Credit Control Team Leader

The credit control team leader will be responsible for a small team of credit controllers that deals with accounts across Europe. Reporting to the Group Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the Warrington team whilst dealing with your own portfolio of accounts. You will also be responsible for providing a variety of bad debt reports for the team.


We are looking for a candidate with a proven ability in a commercial, business to business, credit control team and who is able to demonstrate a successful record of reducing outstanding debt. You should have some previous supervisory experience or be a senior member of a team who is able to coach and lead other members of staff. Any foreign language skills would be a bonus.

Salary is likely to be in the region of £23-£24,000 with good benefits package including 25 days holiday.

Credit Control Team Leader

Award winning FMCG Company based in London are currently looking for a Credit Control Team Leader to join their team.

This is varied role split between hands – on management of own credit control ledger and team leader responsibilities. Key responsibilities will be chasing payments via telephone, letter and email, allocation of payments, resolving queries, opening new accounts and credit checks. Alongside these duties you will also supervising your team’s workflow, setting their targets and work closely with Credit Manager identifying and resolving problematic issues.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a Team Leader capacity, high volume and low margin environment, excellent communication and negotiation skills, someone from a FMCG background would be desirable however not essential.
