- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter
- Cash allocation
- Month End duties such as Aged debtor report
- Regular internal meetings with regional offices
We are looking for someone with a strong credit control background who can come in and hit the ground running. You will be a conscientious candidate with excellent communication skills and a degree of tenacity.
Solicitors experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

· Using debt collection package at every stage of the process, together with other software as necessary.
Credit Control experience required
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise are essential
· Good communication skills both verbal and written, and a professional attitude are vital
· To be able to work on own initiative and work largely without direct supervision
· A good standard of IT literacy is required and a working knowledge of Windows 95, Lotus notes, SAP, Excel and Microsoft Word would be an advantage
· Knowledge of insolvency procedures and legal systems would be an advantage
Working knowledge of the English Legal System for debt recovery
Normal hours of work are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch.
Training will be given at a local level both through formal instruction and ?on the job? and there also opportunities for further specialised training.
