A leading company located in Redhill have a new and exciting position for a Junior Credit Analyst to join their busy accounts team. The position has become available due to the growth of the department. The idea candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar Credit Role, or proven ability to interpret financial accounts and credit reports.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all new business (approx 300 per month) is vetted in line with the current SME Credit Vetting Policy and through interpretation of financial accounts, and credit reports. Also all renewal customers (850 per month) business is vetted internally and externally.
2. Provide interpretation of the Credit Vetting Policy and business decisions to the Sales Department.
3. Assist the Senior Credit Analyst with the monitoring of adherence to the Credit Vetting Policy for new business and renewal through monthly auditing of the Sales Teams.
4. Assist Credit Analyst in completing monthly financial control audits on the Credit team to ensure adherence to Collections Policy. Providing any relevant feedback to Team Leaders.
5. Work with key functions such as Change of Occupancy and Credit providing them with up to date information on assessed businesses, to assist them in their decision making when collecting on accounts.
6. Provide other administrative support to Credit Analyst and other key functions within the SME Credit Department as and when required.
